  • What qualifications are you looking for in an applicant?

    • We’re seeking applicants who love beer and are interested in becoming a part of this exciting industry.

 

  • How much do I need to know about beer to apply?

    • In beer, there’s always more to know! This internship is designed to help folks of all knowledge levels relating to beer and was created for people interested in all aspects of the industry, including brewing, production, sales, and hospitality.  Interns will be educated across this spectrum during the 4-week program, making for a complete experience.

 

  • Is there an age requirement to become an intern? 

    • Yes. You must be 21 or older.

 

  • Why must I be over 21?

    • It's the state law!

 

  • Must I live in NYC to participate as an intern? 

    • Yes, for the moment we're only open to current New York City residents.​

  • Why do I have to be located in NYC?

    • This is just where we’ve started. With time, we hope to expand out of the city as new chapters form.

 

  • What is the time commitment expected of interns? 

    • Interns will be expected to commit at least 20 hours per week to the internship.​

 

  • Will we be expected to travel around the city as interns? 

    • Yes, and unlimited Metrocards will be provided.​

 

  • Are interns paid? 

    • Yes! Interns will be paid $20 per hour.​

  • What will Lovibond Interns receive from the program?

    • We're proud to give our interns a well-rounded industry education that covers all aspects of running, managing and working in a brewery. This unique hands-on experience will also give interns networking connections for future positions in the brewing industry.
